Privacy policy

In short

You can use Dollar Bkam Elyom without an account or giving us any details. We do not sell your data to anyone.

What we collect

Contact form: if you send us a message we store your name, email and message so we can reply. To stop spam we also store a one-way encrypted fingerprint of your IP address, never the address itself. We keep messages only as long as we need them to reply, and no longer than 12 months.

Technical logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) and database provider (Supabase) record technical data such as IP address, browser type and time of visit to run and protect the site.

The site itself does not set its own cookies on your device.

Visit statistics: we count page views to learn what is useful. We record the page, language, device type (phone or computer) and the site that sent you, plus a one-way encrypted fingerprint that changes every day so we can count visitors without knowing who they are. We do not store your IP address or use cookies, and we delete the detailed records after 90 days. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we do not record your visit at all.

Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)

We show ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Who sees your data

We use service providers that work on our behalf: Vercel for hosting, Supabase for the database and Google for advertising. We do not share your messages with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Currency and gold prices

The prices we show are public information published on bank websites and iSagha, and contain no personal data.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete any message you sent us, under applicable law including Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (No. 151 of 2020). Send your request from the Contact page.

Children

The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
